OUR STORY

It all began years ago, when a loving grandmother, Leah Fishman ע"ה, wanted to provide her grandchildren with quality Jewish reading materials. As a passionate reader herself, she understood the joy of reading and thirst for knowledge.  She built an impressive but modest collection by carefully selecting all the new releases.  Before she knew it, word had spread, and neighbors and friends were clamoring to borrow books too.

In 2010, we established the Leah Fishman Library as a tribute to our mother, Leah ע"ה, one year after her passing. Our humble beginning as a small collection of books in the back bedroom has grown into a thriving lending library, offering books for all ages. We are committed to keeping our mothers legacy alive by sharing our immense love for reading with every person who walks through our doors. Today, the Leah Fishman Library is a thriving lending library with a diverse collection of books and a dedicated team of staff and volunteers.
